John Anderson

Photo Editor/Educator John Anderson has been an active player in the photographic industry for nearly a decade. His experience ranges from his time as a news photographer to years as a photo editor with AOL, and as an Illustrations Editor with National Geographic Books.

His editorial experience includes daily news, concept documentary, travel publications, science topics, commerce web sites, children's publishing, and sports. In addition to photographic and editorial pursuits, he often works as an independent consultant on the topics of studio workflow management, asset management, databasing, and printing.

When not thinking or talking photo, he devotes the rest of his time to perfecting the art of the long, high-speed sweeping left-hand turn using a variety of two-wheeled conveyances on both dirt and asphalt. This project is ongoing, but fruitful.
